Sherry and I appreciate the community that we live in – Valley Ridge. Moving to Valley Ridge 7 years ago was the best decision we ever made. The percentage of green space, the many walking paths that we enjoy along the ravine and into Bowness Park, the active Community Association resulting in many annual community activities makes Valley Ridge one of the best communities to live in. This community has helped make us successful and therefore we want to give back to the residents and our neighbours of Valley Ridge.
We will be participating in the next community event – the annual Valley Ridge community BBQ and bottle drive Saturday June 24th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm near the ice rink. This is a great event for families and friends to enjoy the many events such as climbing wall, bounce house, music, the fish pond and of course, the food. Along with the 50/50 draw, there will be other giveaways. Sherry and I will be there raffling away several items – all free. We hope to see you there.
Get ready for Music in the Park that begins on Sunday July 2nd starting at 7:00 next to the Community Garden. Music in the Park runs each Sunday during the months of July and August. Another great community event highlighting the many wonderful musicians we have in the city of Calgary.
