Mum’s for Mothers Day

Our annual “Mum’s for Mother’s Day” will be held on Saturday May 11th at the Valley Ridge Strip Mall. For our Crestmont and Valley Ridge residents join us at 9:00 am – pick out a potted Mum for the special person in your life.

Come early – we have 200 potted mums to be given away.

We truly enjoy this annual tradition. It is such a pleasure to see all the children picking out the perfect mum and the perfect color for their special person.

Stats for Valley Ridge and Crestmont

Along with the stats for 2024, I have included an overview of the 2023 calendar year for the communities of Valley Ridge and Crestmont. The total sales for both areas decreased from 2022 but you will notice that the average sale price increased for detached homes; the average DOM stayed fairly consistent from 2022. For attached, the average sale price increased for Valley Ridge but decreased slightly in Crestmont.

2024 Day Planners

Drumroll, please! Our beloved day planners have arrived! We’re in the midst of sprucing them up for a personal hand-delivery experience.


We get it, technology has taken over the world, and there’s an app for everything! But you know what? Our day planners have a fan club that never disappoints. It’s crazy how many folks swear by them!


In fact, come October, our phones light up like a Christmas tree with calls, texts, and emails from past and present clients, all asking, “When can we get our hands on those planners?” We’ve got former Calgary residents who we mail the planners to and snowbirds who demand we send their planners straight to their nests. Who knew a day planner could be such a hot commodity?

Fingers crossed, you can expect to get your hands on them by late November!

Real Estate Stats for Valley Ridge and Crestmont

There was no stopping Calgary’s Real Estate market last month as it set another monthly sales record. Sales in September marked the fifth consecutive record high with may, June, July and August all settling their own high watermarks.

Single family detached homes continue to make up most activity in the market. The benchmark for this housing type grew 11 percent to reach more than $696,000.

Here are the stats for Valley Ridge and Crestmont. As you can see, the inventory in both communities is extremely low. I have buyers interested in both communities but nothing listed meets their needs. Give me a call. I may have a buyer for your home.

ANNUAL PUMPKIN GIVEAWAY

Mark your calendars for October 28. We are once again hosting our incredible Pumpkin Give-Away, and you’re invited!

What exactly is a Pumpkin Give-Away, you might ask? Well, it’s precisely what it sounds like. We are giving away 200 beautiful, hand-picked pumpkins. These pumpkins are perfect for carving, cooking, or even just adding a festive touch to your home decor. And the best part? They are completely FREE!

WHEN: It will take place on October 28 from 9 to noon. We will be located at the Valley Ridge Strip Mall on Valley Ridge Drive NW.

WHY: The residents of Valley Ridge and Crestmont have been incredibly kind and supportive of our business. It is a small way for us to give back.

We will be accepting non-perishable items to the food bank as well. They are in desperate need of any food items that you can donate.

The trend of low inventory continues. It is still a great time to sell with quick sales and multiple offers in many situations.
